The road winds along the slope of Mt. Wausan east of Haeundae. In early April the cherry trees form a tunnel, and cafés and galleries with big sea-facing windows line the way. The wooden Moontan Road trail through the woods always has walkers. Haewoljeong pavilion looks out to the East Sea horizon and is a known sunrise spot.
