The forest sits at the foot of 807 m Mt. Jeamsan, whose crags are said to form the Chinese character for emperor. A deck trail winds through the trees, and there are lodges, a campground and activities such as a zipline. Hikers continue up to the silver grass in autumn or azaleas in spring.
