Walk up a lane lined with tall cedars and the whole hillside turns into green stripes. Tea bushes climb the slope like steps, and the top viewpoint looks out to far ridges. There is no shade at midday, so bring a hat. April and May, when new leaves come in, are the sharpest. The paths are gentle enough for a slow loop.
