This is the spa town where Joseon kings are said to have soaked. Free foot baths sit at the corner of the station plaza and by the market, so you can dip your feet with luggage in hand. Old public bathhouses survive within walking distance of the station. Sincheontang, open since 1960, is an alkaline spring. Pick one bathhouse and go in.
