Low stone walls twist through the village, and over them you see thatched roofs and tiled courtyards. People still live here, so you may pass laundry lines and rows of soy-sauce jars in the lane. In autumn persimmons hang orange against the grey stone. A small stream runs through the middle, and an hour disappears easily. Many people finish at the market lane by the entrance with pajeon and makgeolli.
