Long tiled roofs run along the slope above the Nakdong River. This is where independence leader Yi Sang-ryong was born, and the family produced more than ten activists. Japan laid a railway across the yard and cut away part of the house; the tracks are gone now and restoration continues. Sit in the Gunjajeong pavilion and the river and rooftops sit in one frame. An hour is plenty with the signs.
