Tiled and thatched houses sit inside a tight S-bend of the Nakdong River. People still live here, so over the lane walls you see laundry lines and rows of soy-sauce jars. Walk out to the pine grove on the riverbank and the whole village comes into view. There is little shade, so bring a hat in summer.
